She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science in October 6th, 2006 from the University of Angers (Université d'Angers) in France with advisor Mr. Jin-Kao Hao. Her thesis was done at ESEO laboratory with co-advisor Mr. Patrick Albers and she worked with Web Service Compositions, AI Planning and Multiobjective Optimizations. Her thesis was entitled “SPOC: A framework for automatic Web service composition dedicated for getting quotes”.

Ms. Claro did her Master at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil, with advisor Mr. João Bosco Mangueira Sobral.
